Located in Northampton, Pennsylvania, Kreidersville Covered Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in the region. The bridge spans Little Lehigh Creek, connecting Kreidersville and Weaverville. Constructed in 1839, the bridge is the oldest covered bridge in Northampton County. It is also the second oldest covered bridge still in existence in the state of Pennsylvania. The bridge is made of timber and is 102 feet long and 12 feet wide. It was originally known as the Leithsville Covered Bridge. However, it was renamed Kreidersville in 1981. Kreidersville is set in a serene and beautiful area, surrounded by lush forests and surrounded by streams, and creeks. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the entire area as they journey through the bridge. The bridge has been restored to its original charm, including beautiful paintings of the area, which adds to its charm even more.
